Norvento reinvents its workspace
With four decades of experience in renewable energy and energy efficiency, Spanish company Norvento Enerxía showcases its commitment to innovation and the environment at its headquarters.

In 2016, the company established a zero-energy building in Lugo, northern Spain, designed by architect Francisco Mangado. This project aimed to fulfil four key requirements: environmental responsibility, staff comfort, scalability for future growth and reflect the design passion of Norvento's president, Pablo Fernández Castro.
To meet these demands, Norvento chose USM Modular Furniture for its headquarters due to its renowned modularity and durability. The system seamlessly integrated into the workspace, meeting the company’s expectations for adaptability and design.

As Norvento's operations expanded and changed over the years, the company recently redesigned its office layout to better align with new workflows and encourage greater collaboration. Instead of replacing the existing furniture, Norvento transformed its workspace into a completely refreshed environment by reconfiguring the USM Haller systems. The original setup was easily dismantled and reassembled to create new breakout areas, flexible collaboration spaces and seating areas. Additionally, the incorporation of planters as well as perforated and sound-absorbing panels improved acoustics and fostered an environment that promotes well-being, creativity and performance.
The newly reconfigured furniture demonstrates the adaptability and timeless quality of this classic modular design. As the centrepiece of Norvento's reimagined workspace, it provides added value, greater comfort, and reflects the company’s commitment to sustainability and innovation.
